Marie-Christine Hebert:
Music has been a part of my life since the day I was born. My mother, an accomplished pianist, organist and teacher filled our home with music on a daily basis. Following in her footsteps, I began piano lessons at age 5. At age 14, I entered De La Salle Public High School, a French arts school in Ottawa. There I studied violin for 5 years and played in the school orchestra, as well as the string ensemble. During this time, I also continued piano lessons, studying Classical music.
